Great food and service. Little pricey but given the location that's expected
Delicious salad and pizza and impeccable service. Don't miss it!
Decent, salty but moderately priced for what it is. Take a break whilst wandering cool old vehicles and memorabilia
Excellent food and outstanding service with friendliest staff. We have been there several times and have been impressed with the food and service quality every time.
Absolutely amazing!!! Food and service were perfect. Pasta was handmade, delicate and spicy all at the same time. The auto museum was so cool. We sat in the outdoor patio and all of my photos came out dark.
Delicious food and excellent cocktails attached to the museum at reasonable prices. My family had three pasta dishes, all of which were phenomenal. I recommend making a reservation bit this is definitely a go to for visiting the museum or just in the area.
I have ordered sea food pasta and it was great and rich 👏👏👏
Really nice outdoor seating. There was live music and great lighting
Tasty pizza after seeing the cats at the Peterson museum. A little pricey but good service.
The Service: LOVE Drago Brothers! Chef Drago really know how to host a party! All their staffs are so professional and attentive. Excellent service!! The Food: Very authentic Italian cuisine. Fresh & good quality ingredients. Their handmade thin crust pizza is delicious. My absolute favorite is their risotto So creamy and flavorful!Don't leave without trying their desserts!! The cream puffs are so yummy. Fresh whipped cream, not overly sweet. I just can't help it to keep eating them! The restaurant is located inside Petersen Automotive Museum. They have huge outdoor patio seating area. Perfect for big party. The Parking: Sharing parking lot with Peterson Automotive Museum. Street metered parking.
Invited by a friend who lives nearby, I had lunch in December 2017, less than 2 weeks after Drago Ristorante opened in the Petersen Automotive Museum on Wilshire and Fairfax. Food and service was ok - we had lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. Complimentary bread and butter was offered after we received our menus and placed our orders. While I still prefer Drago in downtown LA, Drago Ristorante in the Petersen is definitely better than most museum restaurants in Los Angeles.
Good food ,they helped with my gluten allergy. Great wait staff really enjoyed my dinner. Parking is right next to museum so it wasnt a hassle.
Grocery store beers, bland minestrone and lasagna, but friendly staff. Shame it's in such an exciting museum.
We had a great lunch here, with authentic Italian food. Both pasta and pizza are excellent.
Good food, good service, pizza is yummy
Excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. I had the Penne all’ Arrabiata and it was superb. I'll go here again when I'm in the neighborhood.
HAPPY HOUR EVERY FRIDAY 4 - 7pm with a FREE Buffet if you spend $12 or more!!!!
I love this place. Top-notch Italian cuisine in a fun environment. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to bring all my friends!
Good food.nice people.
Visited 3 years ago the first time, Soto Mare is the No.1 seafood pasta restaurant in the city. And my 2nd visit just reinforces the greatness of the food there. Everything was great! Especially seafood linguine, cioppinos, and scallops!!! Geez we didn't expect the scallops could be that good! Just do yourself a favor and order it! And the seafood linguine was very flavorful, a striking comparison to how it looked. I couldn't stop eating it...
Food was okay, tasty but too small of portions. Server was nice, but the hostess could use a smile. For the small portions prices were on the high side. Competition and a new hostess may do good.
A surprising gem
This place served one of the best meals I have ever had. When we walked in we were greeted in a very timely manner and taken to our table. Our waiter was very friendly and walked us through the menu since we had never been here before. When the food came out, it was beautifully plated. It was a piece if art. The food tasted amazing and was a symphony of flavor. I would come back here anytime to eat. It is definitely worth a visit!
My lunch of clams and mussels (actually an appetizer) was delicious. The service was excellent. In spite of asking the server to give us separate checks when we placed our orders, the answer was no. The policy is one check per table.
We order Calamari, Ravioli di Carne, and Parma pizza. All are good and Tiramisu and Cappucino for dessert. And there was live music. Jazz. I’m not sure whether it’s only on Friday or everyday. We were there for birthday dinner.
Food was excellent so where the staff
food and service was top notch
Both of my dishes are tasty, and my friend also liked her's. The service is generally attentive. Only problem is they refused our request to pay separate bills, which other places had no problem
Visited the Automotive Museum and stopped by for a quick bite. I must say we were all pleasantly surprised. Ordered several appetizers. The calamari salad was excellent, cold cut plate as well. Nice ambiance and excellent service.
Decent Italian cuisine. The cars in the museum are awesome.
Over priced food and added tip on the bill
If cars are your thing and delicious Italian food is on your mind , Drago is the place for you. The Peterson Auto Museum’s restaurant will allow you to stay for hours.
Great pre-fixed lunch, fantastic value.
Had pizza and pasta with a friend for lunch. Everything was delicious and service very friendly and fast. Loved it. Yum!
Very authentic Italian place.Pizza are awesome and pasta are fabulous.I generally go there for lunch and it is pretty empty, but apparently they host a lot more at night.
This Italian Restaurant is located inside the Petersen Automotive Museum. The ambiance is lovely with nice background music and comfortable seating. The menu is fairly limited, but prices are reasonable. I ordered Minestrone Soup, which was very good *see photo-. The serving size was quite large for $9.00. We had some bread delivered upon request * see photo. Basket was pretty small. Beverage glasses were small and and refills weren't easily obtained because our server was busy. Overall, a good experience.
What an unexpected culinary treasure we discovered visiting The Peterson Automobile Museum - Drago Ristorante!Beginning with our server Mario - thank you for a lovely evening filled with laughter and excellent food!!!Mario was amazing in suggesting not only our starter, as well as our meals, but also ways to fine tune our dining experience such as adding the house made ice cream to my espresso to finish off my wonderful meal. Dinner was an absolute surprise. Highly recommend!!!!
After wandering around the Peterson my Mother and I were super hungry! Dropped into Drago not really knowing what to expect but pleasantly surprised at what we found.First up, ordered coffee but they do not have any dairy alternatives or even a light milk so that was slightly disconcerting. The food and service more than made up for this though! Ordered the spiral pasta with vodka sauce and it was delicious! The meals are pretty sizeable so Mum and I were able to share one plate but if we were absolutely famished we may have needed to order more. I was also a big fan of the free bread, very soft and perfect for a Entree snack!Much better than I expected all round and may even return!
Very chill place good food great service
Best Italian food. Authentic.Everything fresh. Handmade pastas of incredibly delicate texture. Superb service.
Never knew of this place until My Wife and her co-workers suggested this for Happy Hour...Of course I said 'Yes' because it's inside the Peterson Automotive Museum.
I had a lasagna it was delicious but I think that a small portion of lasagna in a restaurant can't cost 16$. It was served in a very interesting combination in a metal britfann. The dessert was also delicious and also served as a pearl of the world.
Service. Quality. Ambiance
Awesome fresh made pasta! Great live music.
The burger is the best I have had!
Excellent food, friendly staff. Highly recommended
Beyond excellent food & service
Kale salad was great, with a base of baby kale and lots of flavors and textures. The capella pasta was fine but perhaps a touch bland and mushy. Definitely a good choice if you're visiting the museum.
Every bite was more delicious than the last. I highly encourage having something from every section of the menu. This has become a must eat any time I'm in Los Angeles.
I adore this restaurant very much. there is a unique feeling. The kitcen is superb. the service is dynamic and the personel is well trained. The price is modest. greatly recommend.
